Sea Mineral Salad: . - ¾ ounce dried seaweed - 3 tbsp rice vinegar - 2 tbsp tamari sauce - 1 tbsp sesame oil - 1 tsp Trace - 1 tsp natural brown sugar - Red pepper flakes - 1 tsp finely grated ginger - ½ tsp minced garlic - 2 scallions, thinly sliced - ¼ cup shredded carrot - 2 tbsp chopped cilantro - 1 tbsp sesame seeds . 1. Soak seaweed in warm water for 5 minutes. 2. Drain, rinse, then squeeze out excess water. If seaweed was uncut, cut into ½ inch wide strips 3. Stir together vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, Trace, sugar, pepper flakes, ginger, and garlic in a bowl until sugar is dissolved. Add the seaweed, scallions, carrots, and cilantro, tossing to combine well. 4. Fire cider.⠀ .⠀ Fire cider (also sometimes called the Master Tonic is a traditional folk-herbalist concoction made to boost immunity, stimulate digestion, and light a fire in your belly to get you through those cold days. Check it out!⠀ .⠀ Ingredients⠀ .⠀ ❥ 1/2 cup fresh grated organic ginger root⠀ ❥ 1/2 cup fresh grated organic horseradish root⠀ ❥ 1 medium organic onion, chopped⠀ ❥ 10 cloves of organic garlic, crushed or chopped⠀ ❥ 2 organic jalapeno peppers, chopped⠀ ❥ Zest and juice from 1 organic lemon⠀ ❥ 2 Tbsp. of dried rosemary leaves⠀ ❥ 1 Tbsp. organic turmeric powder⠀ ❥ 1/4 tsp. organic cayenne powder⠀ ❥ 2 tsp Black Cumin oil >>> http://bit.ly/2oDVcG1 [link in bio!]⠀ ❥ Organic apple cider vinegar⠀ ❥ 1/4 cup of raw local honey, or to taste⠀ .⠀ Directions⠀ 1. There's nothing quite like a hot breakfast on a cold winter day. It's one of those things that just feels right. . Our tendency to warm food and drink on cold days actually benefits our bodies. Our immune systems love it when we find ways to naturally heat up our bodies. It's a way to help fight off those offending microbes and get nasty toxins out before they do any damage. . If you live in a colder climate like me, one of the best things you can do is work up a sweat. Yep, get sweating! That could mean exercising, but it can also mean taking some time out to sit in a lovely, dry sauna (see, sweating doesn't have to be so bad). . You Need: •⅔ cup coconut oil
•⅔ cup olive oil
•⅔ cup sweet almond oil
•2 tbsp M

Milk Thistle Soap . You Need: •⅔ cup coconut oil •⅔ cup olive oil •⅔ cup sweet almond oil •2 tbsp Milk Thistle Oil •¼ tbsp lye (sodium hydroxide) •¾ cups distilled or filtered H2O •15–20 drops of your favorite essential oils •mold •2–pint mason jar •medium-sized pot •spatula •immersion blender •Latex gloves, old clothes (long sleeves and pants) & protective eyewear •spoon •Thermometer (suitable for cooking) . Directions: *Read Instructions Before You Begin* Measure H2O into a jar. Put on gloves & eyewear & measure out lye. Slowly pour the lye into the water, stirring as you pour. NOTE: it is very important that you add the lye to the H2O, not the other way around. There will be a reaction & fumes. This is normal but stand back as far as possible to avoid them. You may want to try a surgical mask or you can this step outside if you are concerned about ventilation. No matter what, make sure the area is free of children, pets & tripping hazards. When the H2O starts to clear, stop stirring & let it sit. In a medium-sized pot, place the coconut oil on low. Use your thermometer & heat the oil until it reaches 110°F. *You want your pot to be deep enough that the mixture won’t splatter up over the top when you blend, but narrow enough that your hand blender blades will be fully immersed in the liquid when you turn it on (total liquid volume will be a little less than 3 cups). Turn off the heat at this point, but let the coconut oil melt completely (gentle stirring may speed this up). Add the olive oil & sweet almond oil to the melted coconut oil. Stir. Slowly add the H2O & lye mixture to the oils, while manually stirring using the hand-held blender (keep blender off while adding lye & H2O mixture). Once the lye & H2O has been added, fully immerse your hand blender & turn it on. Pulse for bursts of 3–5 seconds. Repeat until the everything is completely blended. Add the essential oils and milk thistle oil, before the mixture gets too thick. Use a spoon to stir. Pour your soap into your molds & let stand for about 24 hours to harden. .
